A creation inspired by the Italian elegance of Lake Como and the timekeeping instruments of the great explorers of yesterday.
A secret revealed through time
The "Segreto di Lario" transforms the traditional power reserve into a refined instrument, inspired by the precision tools of past explorers. Its unique display offers an unprecedented way to experience the passage of time, with the final 24 hours symbolizing a hidden secret—an invitation to embrace life’s fleeting moments with elegance.
The distinctive crossed hands ensure optimal readability, with one tracking the six-day power reserve and the other taking over for the last 24 hours, providing a precise indication of the remaining energy. This intuitive dual retrograde scale enhances the watch’s functionality while maintaining a refined aesthetic, seamlessly blending technical mastery with timeless sophistication.
High level of decoration
The "Segreto di Lario" is dressed in elegance, thanks to finishes executed with the utmost care and traditional techniques: Geneva stripes, circular satin finishing, polished chamfers, and a sandblasted case back. The movement, dial, and Titanium grade 5 case are meticulously decorated by skilled artisans, with an unwavering focus on fine craftsmanship. The attention to detail highlights the beauty of the work, showcasing the precision and quality of each element.
The dial of the "Segreto di Lario" is beautifully crafted. Its central section, from 6 to 12 o’clock, features a vertical satin finish, which transitions into a lower section adorned with vertical Geneva stripes and polished chamfers, all rhodium-plated for added refinement. These exceptional finishes give the dial depth and brilliance, reminiscent of the changing reflections of Lake Como at dusk.
An Exclusive Movement by Jean-François Mojon
At the heart of the "Segreto di Lario" beats an exclusive triple retrograde hand-wound movement, specially developed for BREVA GENEVE by the renowned Swiss master watchmaker Jean-François Mojon and his manufacture, Chronode. Based on the trusted Chronode C101 caliber, this modern movement features twin barrels, ensuring an exceptional 7-day power reserve that guarantees both stability and precision. Inspired by the finest measuring instruments of the past, it combines traditional craftsmanship with contemporary innovations.
The "Segreto di Lario" introduces an exclusive dual retrograde power reserve mechanism: the power reserve indication is split into two kinematic chains, each operating a dedicated cam. Two rack-and-pinion levers transfer the information to the hands, while twin balance springs maintain constant contact for seamless movement.
Precision and Innovation
Crafted to the highest standards of haute horlogerie, the "Segreto di Lario" showcases exceptional finishes that highlight the artistry behind each component.
An elegant, refined, and comfortable case design
The "Segreto di Lario" features a case crafted from Titanium grade 5, measuring 41 mm in diameter and 11.10 mm in height. Its cushion shape provides perfect ergonomics, offering an exceptionally balanced and comfortable wear. The anti-reflective crystals on both sides enhance the readability of its original display functions.
The level of finishing is remarkable, with circular satin brushing, polished bevels, and a sandblasted case back. The movement is visible through the case back, showcasing the quality of the craftsmanship. Water-resistant to 50 meters, the case is secured with a Titanium grade 5 pin buckle for a high-end finishing touch.

Exquisite dial design with innovative functionality
The "Segreto di Lario" features a retrograde small seconds display, which enhances its distinctive character. Delicately polished and finely curved hands create a graceful motion, ensuring both elegance and precision. The signature crossed-hands system, unique to BREVA, optimizes readability while preserving visual harmony.
The meticulously crafted dial showcases an upper section with a vertically satin-finished surface, seamlessly transitioning into the lower part, which is adorned with vertical Geneva stripes and polished chamfers, all rhodium-treated for added refinement. These exceptional finishes impart depth and brilliance, echoing the ever-changing reflections of Lake Como.
Engraved details and miniature paintings further elevate the "Segreto di Lario," capturing the poetic ambiance of Lake Como. These intricate Métiers d'Art techniques, executed with exceptional finesse, transform the timepiece into a unique collector’s object, reflecting the brand's commitment to traditional craftsmanship.
